On Monday September 19th, over 300 people came out to the Carleton-Mississippi Mills Provincial Candidates' Meeting hosted by the Kanata Chamber of Commerce and Metroland Media Ottawa Region. Four of the five registered candidates accepted the invitation to attend: Scott Simser (Green Party of Ontario); Megan Cornell (Ontario Liberal Party); Liam Duff (Ontario NDP); Jack MacLaren (PC Party of Ontario).
