On June 20, 2011 Megan Cornell announced her resignation from the position of President of the Kanata Chamber of Commerce  and a leave of absence from the Board of Directors, in order to seek the Ontario Liberal Party nomination to run in Carleton-Mississippi Mills.

The Chamber is in good hands, as our President Elect, Angela Houle of McAuley Financial Services, has stepped up to take on the role of President a few months earlier than planned. We look forward to a successful year under Angela's leadership.
